    The Sprue Bushing provides a seat at the spherical radius for the
nozzle of the molding machine and conveys the material from the machine
nozzle to the runner system.Sprue Bushing Style D-M-E provides a "B" Series sprue bushing (or "U" Series in the case of 88 mold bases with an "A" side plate stack up of less than 4.25"). However, All D-M-E sprue bushing styles are available for SelectBase. These include: • B Series • Performance B Series • U Series • Performance U Series • A Series • AR Series • L Series • LN Series • UV Series • UR Series If desired, the Sprue Bushing and/or machining for the sprue bushing may be omitted. Sprue Bushing Length Sprue bushing stem length ("A" dimension) is provided as the thickness of the "A" plate plus 1/32" for fitting. Alternatively, any stem length, provided in our catalog of sprue bushings, may be provided with your SelectBase. |   |
