MoldFusion™ harnesses leading-edge technology to help make the impractical possible. MoldFusion uses a 3D metal printing technology that builds a metal component by selectively binding metal powder layer by layer. The finished structural skeleton is then sintered and infiltrated with bronze to produce a finished part that is 60% tool steel and 40% bronze. Ready for production.

Why MoldFusion? MoldFusion isn't a replacement for conventional metalworking, it's an alternative when you need to form shapes, paths and geometries that were previously impossible. Some applications include conformally cooled inserts, structural mass reduction, dynamic thermal cycling, and prototype tooling.

Just send D-M-E your CAD drawings and we'll take care of the rest.
