New Products

• Turbulent Flow Plastic Baffles deliver faster mold cooling and reduced cycle times. Their patented design eliminates cooling blow-by and seals the blade of the baffle within the cooling channels for uniform cooling.

• The Stellar 5000 Hot Runner System gives customers a high-performance advantage in micromolding applications. The 5000 series brings enhancements to both standard and high-performance formats.
• The Quick Strip part ejector eliminates ejector pin marks, reduces cycle time and decreases moldmaking costs. This standardized, off-the-shelf product eliminates the need for ejector plates, pins, risers and clamps.
• CounterView Mold Counters precisely monitor mold operation and validate data so processors can keep a close eye on mold activity. It uses a non-resettable, mechanical, counter to accurately record mold cycles.
• The enhanced Eco-Smart Hot Runner System is better than ever for bio-resin processing. It’s now commercially available after improvements that improved performance and simplified design.
• Internal Latch Locks refine the ejection process for high-volume molding. They ensure mold plates are positioned precisely for applications using stripper plate ejection.
• 2-Stage Ejectors offer positive, precise control of the ejection of complex parts. They adapt to a number of mold base sizes and plate thicknesses and eliminate many secondary operations.

Presentations

D-M-E’s Chuck Azzopardi will deliver “Technology for Sophisticated Mold Development” as the second presentation in NPE’s Technology track, which begins at 11 a.m. Monday, June 22.

Chuck will also be part of a team presenting “The Right Baffle Technology in Your Mold Design Optimizes Cycle Time and Quality” at the Moldmaking Expo, beginning at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, June 24.
