D-M-E is embarking on a new global product line initiative aimed at accelerating new-product development and standardization across all regions. To lead this new focus, we have appointed Craig Messerknecht to the new position of VP of Marketing and Global Product Management.

How It Will Work
In a recent market research project, many D-M-E customers expressed high levels of interest in new products and innovations that help lower costs, cut time from processes and produce other business-performance benefits.

Our new structure is designed to more proactively fulfill these demands. D-M-E product managers will use their close connections to customers, competitors and new technology to help develop the powerful products you’re looking for. The new model also facilitates globally standardized products that can be tailored as needed to meet the unique challenges of local markets.

This global consistency will be especially helpful if your company operates out of multiple international locations. You’ll get the same high-quality, innovative D-M-E products everywhere you are, making processes more consistent and reliable.

Meet the New VP of Marketing and Global Product Management
Craig Messerknecht has run the MRO division of D-M-E for the past five years. He has a strong record of making sound business decisions, and as MRO leader, he was able to bring many new products to market in a short time. This is a critical skill in today’s “right now” marketplace.

Craig not only brings the experience of running a D-M-E business unit, but also a customer focus to the products side of the business. His time with MRO—and as our Customer Service Manager prior to that—gives him a real understanding of customers’ needs. He will remain heavily involved with customers and will work with all sales resources to bring our customers the quality, reliable products that they demand.
