European Standards Supported Worldwide, and Much More
D-M-E's 2007 Arrivals Break New Ground
D-M-E has just introduced Euro-Series Mold Bases, now available worldwide, and a next-generation Close Tolerance Through-Hard Ejector Pin—which features an industry-best 0.0002" tolerance band.
Euro-Series Mold Bases and Components
D-M-E is the only provider that now offers a comprehensive line of Euro-Series Mold Bases and more than 4,000 Euro-Series mold components across North America—and around the world.
The Euro-Series Mold Base features a common bore alignment that guarantees a precise fit, quick assembly and fast delivery every time. The plates are completely interchangeable, often in less than five minutes by only one person—a significant time and labor cost savings.

Close Tolerance (CT) Through-Hard Ejector Pins
Our new CT ejector pin, manufactured from through-hardened M2 tool steel, features an industry-first .0002” tolerance band—a 33 percent reduction in the critical stem diameter tolerance over our previous CT line.
The new pins are available in a range of sizes to suit the stringent needs of the electronics and medical industries as well as other critical molding applications where closer tolerances are required.
The development of the new CT pins began in 2005 with exhaustive quality testing of the previous line of pins against those of the competition. The 0.0003" tolerance that we were achieving with our Close Tolerance (CT) pins proved to be as good as or better than what our major competitors were producing, but we weren’t prepared to settle for “as good as” or even “a little better” than the competition.
For more information or to order the CT pin, please call 800-626-6653 (U.S.) or 800-387-6600 (Canada) or e-mail appl_eng@dme.net.
