Magnetic Separators
 Whether
you are processing powders, pellets or granules, adding a magnet
provides needed protection for your processing equipment. Magnetic
separators are a cost effective way of capturing ferrous metal from
product streams protecting machinery and purifying your resin. Removing
ferrous tramp metal increases up time and eliminates the possibility of
scored screws, barrels, check rings and other equipment caused by these
contaminates while improving your bottom line.
Magnetic
separation devises protect critical areas of plastic injection, blow
molding, extrusion and regrind equipment by removing stray ferrous
metal found in resins. Removal of these contaminates significantly
REDUCES COSTLY DAMAGE to nozzles, screws, barrels, check valves, molds,
regrind blades and other processing equipment resulting in increased
efficiency and  part quality.
The
cost to repair a barrel and screw can range from $20,000 to $30,000.
