DME Names Krishnakumar Managing Director of DME India
Continued focus on India allows customers to receive enhanced support in growing market

MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. – DME Company is pleased to announce the promotion of N.S. Krishnakumar to the position of Managing Director of DME India.

Krishnakumar joined the company in March 2006 and was previously the General Manager at the India plant.

“Our India facility continues to experience significant growth in both sales and profits as the result of the hard work on the part of the entire DME India team,” said Dave Lawrence, President of DME Company. “Every team needs strong, dynamic and trusted leadership.  Krishnakumar can provide these crucial qualities we need to attain our goals.”

Krishnakumar will be responsible for positioning DME India as a leader among the standard mold parts suppliers. He will continue to introduce DME products and technologies to Indian mold makers and molders while providing them with unequaled support every step of the way.

DME has been operating in India, since in 1997, moving from Mumbai to Bangalore in 2007. As the manufacturing industry continues to become even more globalized, customers are demanding that suppliers have locations nearby for continuous support.

DME research shows that it’s not enough to simply ship products to global customers. Having operations geographically near your customers allows companies to ease and accelerate shipping, improve communications and facilitate testing. DME has proven this to be true with its India facility, which has experienced tremendous growth in the last year.
