No Heel Blocks Required
What sets our new Hydraulic Locking Core Pull Cylinder apart?
Its mechanical lock incorporates a segmented ring that’s pushed outward and held by the tapered piston in a cylinder groove. The result is that, unlike traditional cylinders, our core pull doesn’t require heel blocks to withstand injection pressure loads up to 3,625 PSI.
Other great benefits include:
- Reduced cycle times, via cylinder opening independent of the mold
- Thinner plates
- Easier machining and installation
- Extended surface life, thanks to large locking surfaces
- Ease of replacement – we stock it as a standard item in a wide range of sizes
